Microcurrent is a clinically tested and non-invasive therapy and is at the cutting edge in anti-aging skincare. It is used in top spas for facial contouring, toning and firming of aging skin. Microcurrent is a low-level current that mimics the body’s natural current and can provide noticeable anti-aging results. Because Microcurrent works sub sensory the treatment is both soothing and relaxing.

Microcurrent is a safe and effective treatment for clients who wish to attain and maintain healthier, younger-looking skin.

HOW DOES MICROCURRENT WORK?

Micro current works by sending, soft, gentle waves through the skin tissues and down to the facial muscles. Microcurrent has been shown to stimulate ATP production, known as Adenosine triphosphate, which drives the creation of key structural proteins collagen and elastin. This increase also energizes the facial muscles similar to how exercise energizes the muscles of our body. Unlike anywhere else on our body, the facial muscles are directly connected to the skin, so energizing the facial muscles results is an improved and lifted appearance.

During treatment, all facial muscles are stimulated using probes or other attachments that transmit the microcurrent impulse. While drastic improvement can be noticed after the first treatment, the benefits are cumulative and generally a course of 10 – 15 will be needed for optimal results.

These blended peels are designed to correct a variety of skin conditions including acne, rosacea, psoriasis, sun damage, scarring, fine lines, wrinkles and loss of elasticity. Peels can vary depending on skin type.

We customize peel packets depending on your skin needs. It is at the discretion of the aesthetician as to the appropriate peeling as all skin types vary.

It is a Derma Rejuvenation system unique alternative peel that relies on the skin’s ability to repair itself after injury. The active ingredients remain to provide longevity in repair and restoration. Intervals of 6 to 12 months. For maximum cumulative effects, 10 treatments are recommended.
